The Harris-Benedict equation estimates basal metabolic rate (BMR) from weight, height, age and sex. This calculator uses the revised Harris-Benedict formulas. BMR can be multiplied by an activity factor to estimate total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). Results are for guidance only.
