How to Measure Accurately
For accurate results, follow these measurement guidelines:
- Neck: Measure at the narrowest point, just below the larynx
- Waist: Measure at navel level, or at the narrowest point if different
- Hip (women only): Measure at the widest point around the hips/buttocks
- Measure in the morning before eating, with relaxed muscles
- Use a flexible measuring tape, keeping it parallel to the floor
- Don't pull the tape too tight - it should be snug but not compressing skin
