Salary Increase Calculator

Work out your pay rise. Enter your current and new annual salary to see the increase amount, percentage change, and monthly difference.

How the salary increase calculator works

Enter your current annual salary and the new salary you have been offered (or are negotiating). The calculator shows:

  • the annual pay rise amount
  • the monthly change in pay
  • the percentage increase from your old salary

This is a simple gross salary comparison and does not include tax or pension changes. For take-home pay, use the Salary Calculator or Take Home Calculator.

Example

If your salary goes from £30,000 to £33,000:

  • annual increase = £3,000
  • monthly increase ≈ £250
  • percentage increase = £3,000 ÷ £30,000 × 100 = 10%
