When configured with a Free Currency API key, this calculator uses end-of-day exchange rates from Free Currency API. If the API is unavailable, fallback rates are used. Rates are mid-market and do not include bank or provider fees.

The displayed exchange rates are mid-market rates and don't include transaction fees, spreads, or commissions that banks or currency exchange services may charge. Actual conversion rates may vary.

How often do exchange rates change?

Exchange rates fluctuate constantly throughout the day based on market conditions, economic news, and trading activity. Rates can change multiple times per second in active markets.

Can I convert between any currencies?
